The fallout from the two disciplinary decisions from the Scottish FA on Friday night will continue for some time, but Rangers must put the loss of Alfredo Morelos to one side at Rugby Park.
Supporters have been left furious at the rulings which means the striker will be in the stands for the Scottish Cup clash.
Jermain Defoe will come in for Morelos. Steven Gerrard, and Gers fans, will have no worries about the striker starting on the ground where he made his debut last month.
Defoe offers a different kind of threat to Morelos and Rangers will have to adapt to his style. He knows where the goal is, though.
The 36-year-old has been improving with every outing since moving from Bournemouth and now has a chance to really get up to speed over the next three matches.
The loss of Morelos is undoubtedly a huge blow for Rangers and the Colombian will be a real loss today and in the coming weeks.
This is why Defoe was brought in, though. This is his chance to shine for Rangers.
