Tributes have been paid to a young Belfast woman after her death on Friday.
A family notice described Kloe Aiken Smyth as the “beloved, gentle daughter” of Donna and Nigel. She is also survived by her brothers James and Travis, and grandparents Sadie and Joe.
Her mother Donna posted photos of her daughter on social media, prompting an outpouring of support from friends. One said: “What a beautiful young woman. It’s not right. I’m just around the corner my friend.”
Relative Janette Aiken posted on Facebook: “On Friday we got the horrific news that our girl, Kloe, had been found and it wasn’t good news. We are devastated beyond belief, our lives are broken and we will never be the same again.”
A service will be held in Ravenhill Funeral Home this Thursday at noon before proceeding to Roselawn Crematorium. Family flowers only have been requested, with donations if desired to Addiction NI at 40 Elmwood Avenue, Belfast.
