Well, there we have it. Anthony Joshua once again shows his heart and skill, overcoming a tough opponent in stunning fashion. Povetkin may be 39 but is one dangerous opponent and had never been stopped before. Let’s hope Eddie Hearn can make that Deontay Wilder fight in April. How good would that be?

Eddie Hearn: “We’ll try again with Team Wilder. That’s if Wilder vs Fury even happens, there’s no venue. If it’s not Fury or Wilder, I would say it’ll be Dillian Whyte here in April.”

AJ on his next fight: “My number one will be Wilder.”

That’s the first time Povetkin has been stopped in his career. Incredible power from Joshua there. Another test passed. Wilder next?
