After some high scoring games on Tuesday night, clubs are anxiously awaiting the news of who they will face in the second round – here is all you need to know
The Carabao Cup got underway on Tuesday as football league sides met in the hope of making it to Wembley by February.
Mansfield were the big winners of the first round after beating Accrington Stanley 6-1 but a number of games went to penalties including Nottingham Forest who finally beat Bury 10-9 after spot kicks.

When is the draw?
The first round of the Carabao Cup takes place this week with the last game – Sunderland vs Sheffield Wednesday – being played on Thursday, August 16.
Before the game on Thursday, the draw will take place at the Stadium of Light.
Premier League sides will be included in the draw (except Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Burnley, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea due to European commitments).
The draw will take place from 7pm.
Which channel is the draw being shown on and can I live stream it?
Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event will be showing coverage of the draw and Sunderland vs Sheffield Wednesday.
Coverage will start at 7pm with Mick McCarthy and Chris Waddle conducting it.
When will the second round games be played?
The second round games will take place in the week commencing Monday August 27.
These games no longer have extra time if the game ends in a draw after a new rule was passed to go straight to penalties.
What are the ball numbers?
The ball numbers will be announced on Wednesday, August 15.
The draw is unseeded but the teams will be split in North and South regions.
