The Uefa Champions League returns with the round of 16 first-leg matches played this week and next. 

Tomorrow’s fixtures sees Premier League leaders Manchester City travel to Switzerland to face FC Basel while Tottenham have a tough encounter in Italy against Juventus. Then on Wednesday the tie of the round sees Real Madrid host Paris Saint Germain in the first leg in Spain while Liverpool are away at Porto.

FC Basel vs. Manchester City

  • Where: St. Jakob-Park

  • Previous history and team news: Basel and City meet for the first time ever tomorrow at St. Jakob-Park (7.45pm). Pep Guardiola’s Premier League leaders will be hot favourites to progress to the quarter-finals, but they will be without the injured Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Benjamin Mendy and Fabian Delph. Both teams come into the first-leg with four victories from their past five matches.

Juventus vs. Tottenham Hotspur
