A street in north Belfast has been cordoned off following an early-morning incident.

A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said it attended a call from the police in Lismoyne Park near the North Circular Road at around 3.30am.

It is understood police were in attendance at the scene for most of the day.

In a statement a PSNI spokeswoman said: “Police are currently dealing with an incident in the area.

“There are no further details at present.”
