French rugby players taken off flight over alleged late night incident

A number of of French rugby players have been taken off their return flight to Paris by police following reports of a late night incident in Edinburgh, BBC Scotland understands.

In a Tweet the French Rugby Union confirmed some players have been spoken to by the Scottish authorities.

The team flight to Paris Orly, which was due to leave at 11:00, remains on the tarmac at Edinburgh Airport.
