"Cenk Tosun is the Turkish Soldado" - A mixed response to the Tosun's Everton debut in Tottenham game

It was a frustrating game for the Turkish international

Saturday, January 13, 2018

Striker Cenk Tosun made his Everton debut in the Toffees’ Premier League encounter at Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

The Turkish player completed his move to Merseyside from Besiktas last week for a reported fee of £27million to the excitement of many of the Everton faithful.

It was not a dream debut for Tosun, however. He was perhaps harshly subbed off after 61 minutes with his new side 3-0 down in a pretty lifeless display.

However, many on Twitter were still impressed with what he showed in his brief debut, prompting many to predict what we can expect from Everton’s latest signing.

One user likened him to club legend Duncan Ferguson while another compared Tosun’s and Wayne Rooney’s haircuts!
