British WWE star Neville is keen on leaving the company and building his wrestling rep on the independent circuit, reports claim.

The high-flyer – real name Ben Satterley – is also reported to have been disgruntled over “several” other aspects relating to working for WWE. Company sources are said to have claimed Nev was unhappy at missing out on DVD royalties after his Wrestlemania 33 match was left off the final edit.

However, according to wrestling news site pwinsider.com, the 31-year-old Geordie did not storm out of the company after being directed to lose against Enzo Amore on Monday night – and was not even backstage at Raw.

The website claims Satterley has pushed for a release from his contract and is not currently in any of the company’s creative plans, but quotes one source who believes the star could return to perform in a WWE ring.

Nonetheless, the 205 Live headliner was absent from the Cruiserweight show’s tapings this past Tuesday and has not stepped between the ropes since October 1.

New Japan wrestlers such as Marty Scurll, Will Ospreay and the Young Bucks have already made noises on social media about working with Nev, with fans also speculating how the popular star will thrive as a main eventer away from WWE.
