The Frankfurt Motor Show is under way and manufacturers from across the globe are unveiling their latest cars.
One of the largest motor shows in the world, the event sees carmakers debuting vehicles designed for mass production and concepts that feature new connectivity features and powertrains.
The new metal on show this year includes the highly anticipated Renault Megane RS and its rival, the Hyundai i30 N, along with a host of concepts, including BMW’s Tesla-rivalling i Vision Dynamics electric car.
It will also see the launch of Mercedes-AMG’s Project One. Although the hypercar is neither a mass-production vehicle nor a concept, it’s powered by an engine taken straight from Lewis Hamilton’s F1 car – a feat rarely seen in a road-legal vehicle.
The show runs until 24 September, with more new cars to be unveiled in the coming days. Until then, here are some of the new vehicles revealed so far.
