A 32-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in Londonderry earlier this week.

The 33-year-old victim was shot “by appointment” in the Bogside’s Lisfannon Park at 9.30pm on Tuesday.

He was shot in the legs and stomach by four masked gunmen.

Police say a man from the Lettershandoney area is being questioned in connection with the shooting and a separate attack in March.
