The Garvaghy Road in Portadown has reopened after what police described as “a major incident” on Sunday morning.

It is understood that two men were seriously assaulted close to the Garvaghy Road – Ashgrove Road junction.

Police and forensic officers attended the scene.

“The Garvaghy Road closure is now lifted and all traffic can pass freely,” the PSNI said.
