Seven of Alvaro Morata’s goals last season came from headers
Sunday, August 13, 2017
Despite Chelsea getting off to a terrible start against Burnley, summer signing Alvaro Morata scored his first goal for the club.
The Blues lost 3-2 at Stamford Bridge and were 3-0 down at half-time, but were better after the break and pulled a goal back when £60million man Morata headed in shortly after coming on.
Last season, the striker scored 18 league and Champions League goals and since August 2016, only Andrea Belotti has scored more headers than him within Europe’s big five leagues.
