Chelsea are close to sealing the £65m signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

With Diego Costa set to depart Stamford Bridge this summer, Antonio Conte has been on the look out for a new striker.

The Blues missed out on Romelu Lukaku, with the Belgium international signing for Manchester United, and various reports have linked the west London club with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain and Andrea Belotti in recent weeks.

But now it appears a deal has been agreed to bring Aubameyang to England after the 28-year-old’s prolific four-year spell in Germany’s Bundesliga.

Should Aubameyang move to the Blues, he is likely to become Chelsea’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.

Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero have already been brought to Stamford Bridge, and Tiemoue Bakayoko’s switch from Monaco was confirmed on Saturday following the completion of his medical.

As well as Aubameyang, Conte also wants to complete deals for Juventus wing back Alex Sandro and Danilo, who plays the same position, of Real Madrid.
