Arsenal FC transfer news: Juventus join contest for Gunners defender Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin in action for Arsenal

Monday, June 19, 2017

Italian champions Juventus are considering a move for Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.

The 22-year-old defender has been heavily linked with a move away from the Gunners this summer, with Barcelona believed to be pushing to take their former academy star back to the Nou Camp.

There have even been suggestions that Bellerin’s representatives have met Barca officials over the course of the last few months and the Spaniard is keen for a return.

However, it seems Barcelona could face competition from another European giant as according to Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in the Arsenal defender.

With Dani Alves expected to leave this summer, Juve are in the market for a right-back and Bellerin is one of the players the club have been closely following.

They could, however, find it hard to compete with the emotional pull of a return to Barcelona if the defender indeed decides to leave the Gunners in the coming weeks.

And the Catalan giants are also confident that they are the only club Bellerin would leave Arsenal for this summer.
